you gain what i gain
i've noticed a plump leech on my body. no wonder i feel so drained
but this is not like any other leech
i've never noticed it as it was in my back where i can't immediately see
leeches start small in size
i've seen one as a kid when we used to walk from our home to deep in the mountains where some of our relatives were buried. we would be surrounded by trees, bushes, plants, mud, and rocks. mosquitos flying where we CLAP!! or SMACK!! to reveal a squished bug and a splat of red. "it had a feast"
every year when we visit on the 1st of november, it would always rain the night before. which means leeches come out, hop on one grass leaf to another, i've seen it, the way it moves using both of its ends, arching over to suck on a leaf to move forward. they're tiny. half an inch in size. they hang about on the surface of the grass, which is perfect. when a human passes by, they can just stick to their shoe. and slowly find skin to latch on and start sucking blood.
but this one, i don't think i picked it up from nature
when i noticed it, i stared at it. it wasn't like those leeches i saw as a kid. this one grew to the size of my back. that's why my back have been feeling heavy. i watch as it greedily sucks even more even though it looks like it's about to burst.
i look at it with pity.
"it's unfortunate that you found a person to leech on, unfortunate for me too. here you are, sticking to me to gain what i gain. i would have allowed it at first, if you got off by back after being satisfied. giving you a taste of what i gain"
leeches stop feeding when they're full.
but like i said, this is not like any other leech.
"but it seems like a taste of it made you want to eat more. more. more. more. and that you did. you gain what i gain"
i've already planned to take it off from me. it will only keep on feeding if i won't do something about it.
if you feel drained... keep an eye out on leeches.
